Artists for Sustainability

It is said that art often speaks mostly loudly when our voices are made silent by tyranny.

The focus of much of the art displayed here is  by young people speaking for the voiceless masses who find the idea abhorrent of treating the earth as if is a personal treasure chest to be exploited. These students were making posters that were used at public hearings and civil rights protests in Richmond,Virginia, as citizens from across Virginia, North Carolina, and elsewhere converged on the state capitol in a display of political unity for a permanent legislative ban on uranium mining in Virginia.

More to come.
